  The pull chains on my ceiling fan are so hard to pull it moves the entire fan when I pull them. Is there any way to make them pull easier?

  try pulling the chain straight out instead of down.
  if it works any easier then you may be able to apply a little silicone grease to the chain where it rubs on that guide as it exits the motor.
