Painting Pressure Treated Lumber

I’ve just had a fence installed using pressure treated lumber and now I want to put some color to it. I have been told that I need to paint both sides at the same time or else the boards will cup (this means painting the neighbour’s side too). Is this true? If it is, do I have to paint both sides now or can I wait until the spring for the neighbour’s side?

The advise given you is correct. And I would wait till both sides could be done at the same time for just the reason stated.
