  Help! Is it feasible to paint lacquered furniture? I have almond colored bedroom furniture that could use a facelift!

  you would have to lightly sand to scuff up lacquer, prime with a primer that can seal the laquer and then paint
  
  go to your local paint store(not stupid home center) and ask for correct primer
