Anyone has some good tips on painting and using painters tape without getting that ugly bleed?

Sorry, but that is THE secret.

OK, and paint AWAY from the tape if possible. That is, paint from ON the tape to ONTO the surface, not vice versa.

      So there are 2 secrets.

Press the tape down as good as you can, I use a toothbrush to seal it down, and then put a small bead of caulking over the tape. Paint and remove tape.
