I purchased a prestained fiberglass door with a wood grain finish from Lowes @ one year ago. I would like to paint the door white. Am I able to do this? If so how do I proceed.
Make sure the door is clean. Wipe it down with Liquid Sandpaper, prime with a good quality alkyd primer. When primer is dry, paint with a high quality gloss/semi-gloss latex trim paint.
