My cooling unit for AC is in the attic. There are two pipes for overflow, both come outside. The main one drips constantly when on. The secondary does occasionally. Is this something I need to call the HVAC about?
My attic A/C unit has two condensation drains also. One is from the main drain pan, and the second goes to a separate pan which was fabricated to catch any leakage which may occur from the main unit itself. Basically, it is a safety overflow. Specifically, what is leaking for you? You said a pipe is leaking. Is this coming from a fitting in the run of pipe, or from where it enters the A/C unit, or where?
