Our oven timer (Tappan gas range) won’t stop buzzing – it works fine as a timer but when we move the switch back to the clock setting, the buzzing continues. What can we do?
Older mechanical clocks often fail in that manor. If a replacement is still available, you should be able to purchase a replacement. Otherwise, if you take the original to a local appliance parts supplier, they should be able to send your’s away and have it ‘rebuilt’.
