      My daughter just moved into a new house and the former owners had someone come and replace the outside faucet in the back yard with an anti-freeze type. However they did a very poor job and it sticks out from the side of the house by about 8 inches. Also, when you turn the handle no water comes out. We cannot find a turnoff valve and water comes out of all the other faucets in the house and the outside faucet in the front yard. Would anyone have an idea of what the problem is? Thanks.

      * Looks like someone installed the faucet outside the wall. Some faucets are designed to have the faucet inside the house with the 8 inch piece going outside.
      * Check out this website:

      * As lg suggested, remove that faucet and install a standard outside faucet.
      * Good luck… Adios… Jasper…
