I know this is a long shot but has anybody ever tried to take off the cooktop of this stove/oven combo.

I called GE and they said the model is to old for their records.

I’m guessing this certain stove was made in the early to mid 70’s.

I don’t know if it comes from a series or not just got the model number and seriel number off the plate thats behind the oven door.

Or also if anybody has a manual they woul be willing to copy for me, I would be happy to pay for copy costs.

If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Wouldn’t it make everyone more satisfied (as in customer satisfaction) if they scanned these and posted them on their website? The next time I buy a major appliance, I’m going to research this option for the manufacturer. They don’t get my business if they don’t do this.

My late 80’s GE dish washer has begun to give me an error for blocked washer arm. It will occur within the first two minutes of the cycle. If I open and close the door, it goes away. Sometimes it will do it maybe three times at the beginning of the cycle and then it be OK after that. Could this be caused by low water pressure?
