we have a sewer odor coming from our main bathroom tub, when toliet is used you can here what sounds like water draining in the tub… could this be connected to the tub.. each time water is put in the comode you can here it drain in the tub wow what an odor !

* The purpose of the p-trap is so that some water always remains in the trap thereby blocking any odors that come back from the sewer line.
* Perhaps a p-trap was not installed when the tub was installed?
