Hi, all of a sudden the cold water at the faucet has a foul odor and the toilets have a black and brown stain. Also the tub and shower units show a rust like stain. Oru water softener is a Culligan, we use a rust out salt, and the unit is approx 10 years old. We know our water (well) has rust deposits. We have liver in this home seven years. The softener has plenty of salt and I hear it regenerate at about 2:am. What could have gone wrong? Any davice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Connie
