Moldling a fountain for outside

I am looking for some instructions on what materials work best for making the fake rock fountains for swimming pools or outdoor use in the garden. I have thought about using styrofoam to carve the fake rock fountain out of then covering it with some type of light weight fiberglass, resin, or molding material. I found some mold making gel that is used for making molds for the electric train mountains but, haven’t tried it yet. A friend of mine said to use chicken wire to fashion the rock then stuff with newspaper and spray the whole thing with the
Great foam insulation spray and then air brush the whole thing. Has anyone done a molded fake rock fountain? I would really be interested in hearing how you did it and what and where you found your materials.
