      I am having problems with mold on latex exterior house paint on the S/SE portion of my house. The paint is 3 years old and I do not want to repaint if I do not have to. The rest of the house is fine. Do you have any suggestions, short of repainting, on how to deal with this problem?

      I have killed mold and mildew on painted surfaces by using 1 cup bleach to 1 gallon of water applied with garden sprayer. thourghly soak the area by spraying 2-3 times about 3 minutes between sprayings, let set 15 miutes and hose off with garden hose. worked great for me and it looked like freshly painted surface.

      My formula for mildew removal is as follows:
      2 tablespoons dish detergent – Dawn, etc
      2/3 cup Trisodium Phosphate (TSP)
      1 quart bleach
      3 quarts water
