I purchased a neptune in 1999. In 2003 I had the repairs completed, same problems as everyone else.The machine would not spin or rinse and I have black mold. I paid 300 dollar to get the computer board replaced etc. I submitted my claim form. Now this past week the machine is failing again. I found this site and realize I am not alone. I plan to buy a very cheap machine for 200 dollars and believe it will last me for 20 years. I hate MAYTAG!
I actually replaced mine with a new Neptune (I know, I know-why?). It lasted a few months, and something blew up (I actually think it was because of a power surge-ooops). Anyway, I bought an LG front loader – what a difference! Great machine!
