Both my showers upstairs leak through to the ceiling. I have chalked one of them thinking that was the problem, with no luck. Any ideas on where to start looking for the problem, or is this a job for the professionals?
BeforeI did too much with plumbing i would take a 5 gallon bucket of water and pour it in shower and walk in it to see if it or drain leaks. if not– its the pipes..It could be broken fitting -fitting that wasn’t soldered well to begin with..some people get loose handles and don’t seem to want to tighten them up and keep jerking on them all the time. That will break things..appt owners will testify to that. I would look at leaky shower floor and drain first tho then pipes.
