I saw on Bob’s remodeling show the other day a different treatment of a kitchen floor, and would like to try it. The problem is I didn’t get all of the details and would like some help. The floor was simply plywood, covered with a dark green oil based paint, then splattered with other oil based colors, then polyutherened over. Questions:1 What type of plywood, and do you putty the seams and nail holes? How many coats of paint and how long to dry between? How many coast polyU, and do you sand between, and finally, what kind of wear will i get out of the Polyu…I mean like will it show traffic patterns bad, fade, scuff, etc.
