      I recently spilled a kerosene heater in the back of my wife’s Honda Pilot. The back carpet got soaked. what can I do to eliminate the odor?

      I think you will have to pull the rear seat and remove the carpet. Toss the padding, if any and thoroughly shampoo the carpet. If after it has dryed, it still smells of kero, then you will just have to replace with new carpet.
