When moving my kenmore into my house, we had to take the doors off of the hinges to get it through the doors of the house. While going up the steps, the fridge shfted and the freezer door (which we could not take all the way off) fell onto the water hose going into the door – slicing through the hose. We do not know how to take the door off to get to the hose, or how to take the hose out to replace it. Needless to say, we don’t even know which hose we need to order. Now, we are moving to a new house, and I would like to actually be able to use the features I paid for. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Instructions for removing the door should be covered in the owner’s manual.

How to replace the tubing would be something else and may not even be possible depending on the exact model number of fridge and if the door uses foamed in place insulation. Depending on where the breakage is, some sort of connector (see the following link) may be able to be used.

      – Tubing Connector 1/4″ OD to 1/4″ OD
