Someone I know was trying to replace a toliet seal in their new home. When they took up the toliet they realized that under the toliet the bolts had been through the thick tile. Now they cracked the toliet and the tile underneath. They do not know what to do now. Any solutions?
If the toilet is cracked, about the only thing to do is to replace with a new one. I wouldn’t take a chance on installing a damaged one. However, I wouldn’t worry about cracked tile under the toilet as it will be hidden when the unit is re-installed.
