My husband and I are remodeling our bathroom and want to install a double sink. Can someone fill me in on how to run the pipes under the vanity? Do we have to have “double” whats there now for each basin, or can we run off the plumbing thats already there for the extra basin? Any info. would be appreciated, as I’d love to surprise him by knowing how to do it in advance!

Not double water supply or double sewer line but T’s with one trap,Shut off valves should be installed on each line that is( One shut off for each cold water, and one valve for each hot water(installed close to sink underneath.
