i was wanting to finish my basement and make a large room for my pool table. my problem is there is a support pole every 7 feet down the center of the basement. the basement is only 21 feet wide so i will definitely have to remove this pole, is just don’t know what kind of support i need to replace it. the basement is just a perfect rectangle with a pole every 7 feet all the way down the center of the basement. i only need to get rid of this one pole and it is the pole closest to the wall.
