I purchased a new facuet in my kitchen. After installation, there was a hum in the facuet. Never had the problem before, so I assumed that the hum had something to do with the facuet. Called the manufacture of the facuet and they have practically replaced all the parts in the fixture. Now I’m started to notice a hum in a toilet when flushed. At this point and time I feel that there is air in the pipes. My husband and myself purchased this house 3 years ago and it was brand new. If it is air in the pipes, how do I get rid of the noise. Any suggestions.

you didn’t say if you’re on well water or treated city water.
at this point i would try a new toilet fill valve(also known as a ballcock).
