We had lighting one day and our heating & Airconditioner never turn on again. I’ve check and replaced all the fuses. It does not do anything!
could it be themastat or one of the relays?
It could well have blown the circuit board, if it uses one. Ours does. And the warranty states that it does not cover power surges. So I installed a surge suppressor on it. Got a single outlet Belkin for about $10.
I think you will have to call for a service tech to have yours repaired; they are a bit complicated.
Several years ago lightning struck our power line and damaged several items in the house. A TV, cordless phone and AC compressor were ruined. This is not a DIY project. Call your HVAC professional.
