Hand Rail

I’m a complete novice and a new homeowner. I need to build a simple hand rail leading to our basement. can you help?

those are the brackets.then just get some handrail stock at home depot the length you need.

then find out the height it should be
i think it’s 32″ above the step but i always just set it at a comfortable grab height.

brackets must be solid into studs or anchored if into brick.

not hard to do at all(if i can do it)
