Fan desides when it will run or not-turns on and off by self. When off we can not turn it on. It is NOT set up for a remote so that’s not a problem. Any ideas?
Sure sounds like something isn’t connected properly. Could be the 9 pin connector, make sure colors are matched up or even the capacitor. I would take it down (make sure power is off) and start all over.
the problem you are describing could be the simple fact, and most common problem, ? Is your fan remote control, and do you have more than one? If so you need to change the frequency on one or more fans in your house. they all come stock with the same frequency.
