I have two Hampton Bay Fans the one in the kitchen work like a dream. The one installed in our bedroom, Romanesque II, 52″ ceiling fan, June 2004. makes a constant toned humming sound which I guess I was supposed to get so use to hearing that my mind would ignore it, that hasn’t happened, is there any way to stop the humming?
You might have someting loose like a screw. I would take the fan down, check everything from the wires to the screws. Make sure nothing inside could be tapping. Make sure all the screws are tight and check the light fixture and if it still hums call the 800 number in the manual.
