      Should the light in my wall mounted garage door opener blink constantly—or do I have an electrical problem?

      Wall mounted GDO? Do you mean the wall mounted push button? That blinking may be a coded signal trying to tell you something is wrong. You will have to look in the manual to find out.

      Usually that blinking green light means that the door opener is “locked” If the wall mounted button has a lock button on it push it and see what happens.
