      I would like suggestions on how to put down a new floor in the condo that I am renting. I would love hardwood, but I don’t want to spend more than $500 as I am only renting. Any inexpensive suggestions for a 1200 sq. foot condo in need of a new floor throughout?

      You are only allowing $0.47 per square foot. I don’t know of any conventional floor material that can be purchased and laid for that price with the possible exception of some floor paints. What is on the floor now?

      Hell, if you look at even just plywood that comes out to $1.30/square foot around here.

      some peel and stick tiles cost around 30 cents a tile.
