  Hi everyone,
  
  I have a flat roof on a 30 year old town house.
  
  When it gets very cold here in Montreal, the roof makes noises as if a bomb is going off. Since I have a light sleep, I keep waking up during the night.
  
  The roof is a membrane type, it was done in 2000. There are no visible leaks inside the house.
  
  Anybody has any ideas about what this can be ?
