I have a fiberboard walls with unfinished seams and others seams someone used masking tape and applied a thin plaster coating. How would I fix this without tearing them out and putting up drywall?
I think that drywall would give the best appearing solution to your problem, but as an alternative, you could cover the seams with lattice strips. Also pre-finished paneling is an option.
