Eliminate Odor in Old Doors that have been stained

I built a bed out of old panel doors. I stripped the paint, sanded and then stained the doors. After staining, I sealed the wood with a water based Poly by Minwax. The doors look fantastic, but now there is an odor being emitted by the doors. Any ideas how I can eliminate the odor?

I don’t know if you can do this and get a pro finish ,but try a clear Shelac sealer on a test piece of wood. This may or may not harm the integrity of the poly finish.
