The elevator maintenance companies are not often coming for the service. They are available only during the time of inspection. There are times when people get trapped in the elevator. We have to call a mechanic nearby to get them out. Sometimes people have managed to get out themselves before anyone gets there. People living in the building are suggesting to choose elevator service companies that are reliable and responsive. Several others are recommending to appoint an elevator rep. In case of an elevator rep, he will be able to rescue people entrapped in the elevators. But service companies will carry out maintenance works that are best suited for the elevators.
