I have a Roper Dryer Model YREX4635EQ0 it runs and heats up but takes at least two or three cycles to dry a load, even a small light load and at least 4 – 6 for a heavy load(towels, etc.) What could be wrong, is it something I can fix myself?

check first to see if your vent is unrestricted. It may need cleaning out.

I agree with bobsbuddy, check the dryer venting (see the link below) *all the way from the dryer to the outdoors*. If plugged, besides just being inconvenient it could be a fire hazard!

      – How long can my dryer vent be?
