hello,i;am and just retired bad heart and all the other stuff.do;nt want to set and die, so i need to how much lumber i will need to make a 10×10 deck ,thank you

and 4×4 posts in concrete, but use dek blocks if you cannot dig and mix the concrete.

2×6 decking 22 2x6x10

2×6 joists 12 2x6x10

4×4 posts 4 4x4x8

dek blocks 8 each

concrete 4 bags 80lb

fasteners 16D Galv, ring shanked

This should get you going. you might have a frost line thing to consider, where I live we do not, so my material is based on my area. Leave a slight spacing for drainage, about 1/4 inch.

12 feet deep and 16 feet long. I want to do it with less number of footing/post because I don’t like digging. It will be kind of low profile with height no more than 3 feet.
