I need to cut a deeper opening in my countertop for a new slide in range. The “pros” and i use that term loosly at home depot suggested i either get a different range or hire a pro to recut the depth. Neither is an option, so i was wondering if there is an easy way to do this? suggestions, tips, and overall good thoughts would be greatly appreciated
No problem cutting Corian with a carbide blade, but polishing the cut is another matter. If the cut edge will be behind the range, will it show? If just the top corner will show, you could smooth that with a file or sandpaper.
