My furnace stopped working, so I had the compressor replaced. The unit worked for 2 days. I am looking for an honest person the to assess the problem. Any recommendations?

Repair companies usually warranty their work, so call them back to get it working.
Anyone else touching it would require getting paid again.

Yes, you really have to find out the MAKE and MODEL to get good answers. There IS more than one machine made.

why don’t you call the original repair company back to see what is wrong this time? There is no reason to assume they are dishonest just because something else failed or something went out of adjustment.

It worked for two days so it was trouble shot at least somewhat properly. Calling in someone else would void any warranty the first service company offers, and ALL reputable service companies give warranties on their work.

It doesn’t make sense to just call in someone else without knowing what the first company would do.
