  I need help repairing a chipped stovetop. I have in the past used “paint” made for repairing porcelin, but it is always too dark colored and makes the repair look almost as bad as the chip! I am looking for any advice.

  You might contact one of the firms which resurface bathroom tubs. Perhaps they could properly repair your damaged stovetop.
