Ceiling Fan Med-High Stopped Working

I have an older (non-remote) Hampton bay ceiling fan. Had it on and heard two small pops. Tried to change speed from low to medium then high – no change, only operates at low speed. Any ideas?

may have shorted out.. will need to replace the baord….might compare price of repair vs. replace. maybe more cost effective to replace with a new fan. good luck LJ

It may only be your three way pull switch if thats what you change speeds with.Post back with more info.
