I am trying to repair a wall with some missing ceramic tiles. These are old tiles and measure 4″x4″. I went to HD to look for something close and found that everything they sell is actually about 4.25″ square. Is it possible to find he real 4×4 ones anywhere, or will I need to cut some new ones to size?
If it was me and I didn’t have my tile saw I would ask Home Depot to cut the tile I need. Where I live I believe they dont charge for a few if you buy them there. But it sure would be worth asking.
About four years ago I had to replace some wall tile. I called Greenwich Tile 800-470 9636. They still stock some of the old tile from the fifties, sent them a small piece, they matched it very, very close. It was a light cream. Good Luck
