Watch out at your local bowling alley, they are tearing out the solid maple alleys and replacing them with plastic. I picked up a 12 foot length of maple 43 inchs wide and 2 3/8 inchs thick for $90. from the contractor.
Thanks for the tip . I am going to have to look around to see if anone is redoing bowling alleys. There aren’t too many left here in Southern New England.
