Our home is more than 100 years old, very large, triple brick construction, plaster walls. Is blown-in insulation advisable? What kind? If there are cavaties between each layer of brick, which one should be filled? Should the injection best be made from the interior or exterior? On every floor? Thanks for ideas and info!

it is not adviseable to put insulation inbetween this type of brick construction. as well as that space is for the brick to breath.

useual way is to strap the inside of the wall with 2 inch styrofoam insulation and then drywall on top. plus the extending of your outlet boxes and window jambs.
