Been looking at walk behind snowblowers,seen some with a lever on each hand grip that when activated disengages one wheel or the other,supposed to be for easy turning,are these more trouble than there worth(about $250.00)more than the regular drives or are they long lasting trouble free.Never used one but i supose it would be easier to turn.

one lever is for auger

one lever is for drive wheels that are locked as one for traction

no problem turning

make sure you get chains on your tires for best traction

traction is what you want, not easy turning, although truning is no problem anyways

But on anything smaller than a 10 hp machine would be a waste of money. The big machines are hard to turn, and the feature is nice. Unless you are physically limited, I wouldn’t consider it.
