Nearly 10 years ago I had my bathtub recoated professionally. It has held up very well and is still functional today. My problem is the caulk that seals the ceramic tile where it meets the tub. This caulk is starting to mildew and needs to be replaced. If this was ceramic on the tub I’d just take a razor blade, cut it out and redo it. However this coating on the tub I know is not that durable. Any suggestions on how to remove the caulk without destroying the spray on coating.

I’m pleased to hear that you have a good coating job. They certainly have been better this past decade. I presume you have silicone. I use a razor blade and push up towards the wall on recoated tubs. If your blade gets dirty so that it could scratch, then use another.
Getting this area clean and dry is the most important part of recaulking. It gets so hard to do that we tend to just want to cover up the old stuff. Clean and Dry.
