I would like to remove the drain stopper in our bathtub. It is one of those chrome type with a knob on top. You turn it to open and close. I cannot figure out how it is installed, or how to remove it. It leaks and will not hold the water in the tub.
If there is no other knob, other than the stopper, just turn and pull. If the knob is on the tub and it moves the stopper, you have to get to the end of the tub to disconnect it.
I know the one you are talking about… Goodluck, those things are super hard to get off, you need to twist it off, I broke one. It was ok because I was removing the tub anyway. Those are some old style stoppers.
