I am having terriable bathroom moisture/condensation issues in both bathrooms. after a hot shower with fan on the condensation is so badly trapped on the ceiling. it is causing the paint to peel from the walls and the moldings. we hired painters to scrap off the paint and use the ‘right’ paint but it didn’t fix the problem. any suggestions?

make sure your fan is rated big enough for the size room you have. Also you have to have enough new air comming in the room to replace your humid air. You may also want to leave the fan on for awhile after the shower and also move both ends of shower curtain to center of rail so hot air excapes the tub and none is traped in one end of shower. some people also dry thmselves in shower and then dry the shower walls to prevent this. My dad was an interior decorator(house painter) and he always did that just to prevent moistor buildup.
