I have a decent bathroom, albeit, dated. ..ie..3 knobs for the shower at shoulder level. About 15 years ago i had reglazing done to my satisfaction. Its held pretty well..tub, wall tiles. Now as I enter the later part of my senior years, I get nervous taking a shower, fear of slipping. I cannot put those decals in the tub to prevent slipping. I was thinking about those ads one sees about Bath Fitters. I asked for a minium price just for the tub which is acrylic…they said about $1000. Isn’t that high, just for an ‘insert’? Hate to think if I had included modifying my shower faucets into one of those round jobs, or even my tiles. I also saw an ad for a chair with 4 suction cups that rest on the tub and they would not interfere with the glazing as the decals would. They too wanted a $1000. Any suggestions? Thanks
