So we’re redoing the basement floor and i’ve noticed there is a red powder that is on it… when it get wet, it gets pasty… its a really fine powder and has been painted over in a portion of hte basement. any idea what it might be? it was under a set of vinyl tiles that we just had removed… going to prime over it for new vinyl tiles…
chalk while reloading their chalkbox/line OR it might be residue of our famous ga clay – an important souvenir from a visit to our lovely peach state )
obviously you know more than the previous dummy & you’ll clean it up before tiling over it – good luck !
