Asbestos Shingles

Should holes be pre drilled before nailing Asbestos shingles? The seem very brittle. Thanks.

the key for asbestos is to not let any fibers get loose from drilling ,breaking ect. If you must do one of these be sure to spray it down as to not let any of the fibers in the air. Dispose of propery too ,keeping wet as you do it and wearing a respeator mask.
