Water temperature?

** [Kenmore washer model # 110.26914690] I have changed both cold/hot hoses and clean small filter at washer side. I am still getting cold water at slow speed. can some guide me on this issue? **

That washer model use an electronic control to monitor the fill water temperature. Usually such a system will not allow a washer to fill with less that 70°F wash water. Even if set on “cold”, the control will cycle the hot water on to try to get the fill temperature up to 70°.

Will the washer fill normally on a “hot” setting?

If the hot wasn’t working normally (or was only luke warm), the electronic control wouldn’t likely let in very much cold water which could account for the slow fill.

If the machine will fill normally on “hot” and it is up to temperature, there may just be a problem inside the machine’s water fill valve (see the following link), that electronic temperature control or the sensor that the control uses to monitor the fill temperature.
