That old roof…

It makes sense that inadequate ventilation is a problem, especially in this climate. It’s a one story ranch house with a small attic space above. I bought it 11 years ago – the seller had slapped the roof on prior to putting it on the market, and I am sure he did not use the highest quality materials.

I guess what I really need to know – is this something that can wait until the roof gets stripped down next summer, or should I get a contractor out here to check the ventilation soon?
